To be considered a part of Kennedy and Xavier's Wedding Group, you must book through this group room block and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel). We offer contracted group rates that have been secured through a room block to make this as easy as possible. To participate in all of the wedding-related activities, you must stay at Lopesan Costa Bavaro as part of the wedding group.

If you stay at a different hotel/resort other than Lopesan Costa Bavaro or do not book via this website, you must inform Destinations Diva Travel (Kim@destinationsdiva.com) as you will be required to be added to the wedding guest list for ceremony/reception access. If you stay at a different hotel/resort, an official ID must be presented to access the hotel. These guests are welcome to arrive 30 minutes prior to the ceremony and must depart the resort immediately following the end of the event.


Trip Deposit and Payment Schedule


  • Only a 100.00 non-refundable deposit is required to book your room
  • Rooms need to be booked by September 19, 2024
  • A second payment equal to 50% of your room total will be auto-charged on September 19, 2024.
  • Final payments will be auto-charged on December 3, 2024 unless otherwise noted, the card submitted will be used for final payment If your credit card is declined, we will reach out to submit a new credit card payment. If payment is paid past December 3, a 100.00 late fee will be added. If payment is not made by December 7, 2024 your room will be automatically dropped. 
  • You can make additional payments that can be set up monthly if you prefer, ask us to set this up for you. 
  • You will book your own flights and we will collect that information 45 days prior to travel to schedule your round trip transportation to and from the resort. If flight information is not received by January 25, 2025 you will be responsible for your transportation at your own expense. 
  • Plan to fly into Punta Cana (PUJ) airport. This is where the private group transportation will pick you up. 
  • You will be sent reminders for all payment dates after your initial booking is made.
Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your reservation by September 19, 2024 you are only responsible for the $100 per person cancellation fee..

If you cancel your reservation between September 19, 2024, and December 3, 2024, you will be responsible for 50% of your room total. Also, if you reduce the number of nights in your reservation you will be responsible for 50% of the nights reduced. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.

If you cancel your reservation or reduce the number of nights in your reservation on or after December 3, 2024 you are responsible for 100% of your room total. If you have travel insurance you can file a claim to get a refund based on their terms.


Additionally, the resort will not allow the following modifications/changes to your reservation on or after December 3, 2024. 

  • Downgrading a room category
  • Decreasing the number of nights in your reservation
  • Removing a guest from your reservation (reducing the occupancy level in your room)

This resort will not allow any changes, including name changes, to your reservation after December 3, 2024

What can you do with your reservation between September 19 and December 3?

  • Upgrade your room category, if an upgraded room category is available.
  • Add extra nights, if additional nights are available.
  • Add an additional guest or make a name change.

The resort will not provide a credit or voucher for future travel if you arrive after your scheduled arrival date, if you check out early, or do not travel on the dates selected for this reservation for any reason.

If you purchased the travel insurance and have to cancel you will be refunded by the travel insurance company according to the travel insurance guidelines, but you are still responsible for the $100 cancellation fee.

Once a reservation is booked there is a $100 cancellation fee with no regard to the reason for the cancellation. This cancellation fee cannot be reapplied to a later re-booking.

FYI, not purchasing travel insurance could result in the loss of your travel cost and/or require more money to correct the situation. Without insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs, or expenses incurred and the price of travel insurance IS NOT included in the price of the room selections and is non-refundable once purchased.

Having travel insurance is definitely important and I recommend it for everyone. We personally buy it for our trips. However, the option to purchase travel insurance is solely up to you and you may purchase it through any insurance company you would like.


Arch Roam Right Travel Insurance offers several different plan options so you can select the coverage that works best for you. 

If you want the CFAR (Cancel for Any Reason) benefit you will have to add it to the policy and you must purchase the insurance no later than 21 days from the day you make your initial payment.

When you click on the link you will need to answer a few questions about your trip and then you’ll be redirected to a page with the policy information and pricing. They have policy comparisons outlined for you once you input your information. 

Roam Right is the insurance company we personally use and suggest to others but you are welcome to purchase travel insurance through any entity that you choose.
